Kai Buehler, Ph.D.

CEO

Kai has successfully started, managed, and sold businesses in the digital media, loyalty, and mobile application space. Before founding Causora, Kai was CEO of Watchpoints (acquired by Viggle – VGGL), Mobile Messaging Solutions (divested out of VeriSign in 2009), Mindmatics USA (merged with mms Inc.), and plan_b media (acquired by mopay – now boku). He holds a Master Degree in Business and a PhD in Economics from the University of Paderborn, Germany and Hong Kong.

Drew Spencer

CTO

Drew has over 10 years of experience in the software industry. Most recently he was CTO at blurbIQ.com building an ad network specializing in interactive and engaging branded ad creative. Previously, he lead a team at K2 Network building MMOG server components, and was CTO and Co-Founder of Skill City Games until its acquisition by K2. Prior to that, he was an entrepreneur in the public safety industry. Drew holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Stanford University.

Dietmar Lang

Head of Business Development

Dietmar has more than a decade of mobile and Internet business development experience with large-enterprise, start-up and client-services companies. He co-founded the kyntal app, led business development for iconmobile USA/WPP and led deals at Microsoft with mobile OEMs and carriers. He is a partner at iconmobile USA/WPP and consults other start-ups. He holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota, USA and HEC, France.

Sehr Lakhani

Director of Development

Sehr is a philanthropist with a background in International Development and Globalization. As the Director of Development, she focuses on driving cause acquisitions and campaign management. Previously, Sehr worked as a consultant for the United Nations Association in Canada and the Canadian International Development Agency. She is an active volunteer and an avid world traveler.

Before founding Causora, Kai was CEO of multiple successfully acquired companies, including Watchpoints (acquired by Viggle – VGGL), Mobile Messaging Solutions (divested out of VeriSign in 2009), Mindmatics USA (merged with mms Inc.), and plan_b media (acquired by mopay). He holds a Master Degree in Business and a PhD in Economics from the University of Paderborn, Germany and Hong Kong. Kai lives in LA with his wife and two children and actively supports local causes like his daughter’s school and the local non-profit chapters of national organizations.

Sehr Lakhani is a philanthropist with a background in International Development and Globalization. As the Director of Development, Sehr focuses on driving cause acquisitions and campaign management. She recently moved to California from Ottawa, Canada where she previously worked as a consultant for the United Nations Association in Canada and the Canadian International Development Agency. She is an active volunteer and an avid world traveler.

Most recently he worked at blurbIQ.com as CTO building and maintaining an ad network specializing in interactive and engaging branded ad creative.  Previously, he has worked at K2 Network leading a team building server components for massively multi-player online games, and as CTO and Co-Founder of Skill City Games, an online, community-oriented casual games site, which he helped run for 2 years until its eventual acquisition by K2. Before Skill City Games, he worked as an entrepreneur in the public safety industry providing large scale record management and report writing solutions. Drew holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Stanford University.
